1. Our approach
TapeCharts uses strictly necessary cookies only. We run no advertising, marketing or third-party analytics cookies on tapecharts.com or in the terminal today. Because we only use essential cookies, no consent banner is required; this page exists for transparency.
2. Cookies we set
tc_session — an HttpOnly session cookie that keeps you signed in to the terminal; it expires with your session and is revocable server-side. It is first-party and essential for the Service to function.
3. Local storage
The terminal stores your workspace preferences (layout, theme, drawings) and a session token in your browser's local storage, and your trade screenshots in your browser's IndexedDB as a local cache. These stay on your device and can be cleared via your browser.
4. If this changes
If we ever introduce non-essential cookies (e.g. analytics), we will update this policy first and add a consent mechanism where required by law.
